Meet Chanbo Plenkovich AKA Bo

Meet Chanbo Plenkovich, best known as Bo, the owner of BoLavish Lash & Skincare Spa. Bo’s mission is to inspire, educate, and provide a positive lash and skincare experience for clients. Additionally, she has created a central hub for other beauty industry professionals to start or enhance their professional journey. As a Licensed Master Esthetician in Washington State, Bo holds a degree from the Euro Institute of Skin Care and a Master’s in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University. Her impressive qualifications reflect her commitment to excellence in both skincare and business management. We sat down with Bo to ask her about her journey in the beauty industry, and here is what she had to say:

“In 2007, while volunteering at a local non-profit event that supported battered women, I discovered the beauty industry. The charity aimed to raise funds for emotional and physical support, offering complimentary aesthetic treatments such as facials, makeup, and retail products. Witnessing the dedication of volunteers and business owners, as well as observing the resilience and strength of these women, inspired me. I felt compelled to explore the beauty industry further, with a desire to contribute to the well-being of others.

My experience in the beauty industry and my association with Elleebana has been a great challenge but absolutely amazing! In 2009, I founded BoLavish Spa, providing lash extensions and facial services. By 2016, I introduced lash lifts as an alternative to extensions, which quickly became a highly sought-after service. Later in 2017, I was offered an opportunity to join Elleebana’s education team and in 2019 was extended an offer to become one of Elleebana’s authorized distributors.

Elleebana stood out from other leading brands for many reasons. Representing Elleebana has been an honor and a prestigious opportunity for me. Their commitment to continued education, training, supportive events, product development, and an innovative approach to quality and integrity has fueled my desire to stay with them. I find joy in connecting, networking, educating, learning, and inspiring fellow professionals. Elleebana’s global support, investment in our success, and genuine interest are the reasons I remain dedicated. I am so appreciative and look forward to continuing my journey with the Ellee-family!

BoLavish Spa, established as a single staff member, has blossomed into a thriving team. As an educator, distributor, and certified Elleebana spa, we provide services to a diverse clientele. Our commitment to social responsibility drives us to sponsor and donate to local charities whenever possible. As I continue this journey, my mission is to inspire, educate, and provide a positive lash and skincare experience for clients as well as serve as a convenient place for professionals in the beauty industry to begin or enrich their professional journey.

I take great pleasure in providing clients with comprehensive one-stop service packages. Among my favorite offerings are our multi-services, which typically feature a customized Classic European Facial followed by an add-on lash and brow lamination service.

Outside of Work, I Like To:

When I am not doing spa work, I love exploring different ethnic restaurants with my husband and kids. Despite living in the diverse city of Seattle our entire life, we only recently ate at a local Cambodian restaurant for the first time. It was a wonderful cultural experience with great authentic flavors infused with a modern twist. To maintain balance for my love of eating, I discovered Barre this year. I love the mix of cross-fit, yoga, and strength building.”
