Meet Marlo Brown, the inspiring Master Esthetician and founder of MB Lash & Beauty Bar, a luxury beauty destination located in Williamsburg, Virginia. With a background in the military and a heart for service, Marlo brings discipline, attention to detail, and an unwavering passion for helping others to everything she does. Her journey from esthetician to successful business owner and Elleebana educator is a testament to her drive and dedication to the industry.
We asked Marlo about her journey, the evolution of her career, and what drives her passion for teaching and esthetics. Here is what she had to say:
“My name is Marlo Brown, and I’m the founder of MB Lash & Beauty Bar, where self-care, confidence, and high-quality beauty services come together. My journey into the beauty industry has been shaped by both my growth as an esthetician and my background as a veteran. Discipline, attention to detail, and a true desire to help people feel their best have always been at the core of who I am.
When I opened MB Lash & Beauty Bar, my vision was to create a place where clients could truly relax, recharge, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Over time, I became a Master Esthetician, diving deeper into my craft and expanding the services I could offer. For me, beauty is about more than just treatments—it’s about creating a full experience that uplifts and empowers.
After taking Elleebana’s training, I was blown away by the education and the quality of their products. I knew right away that I wanted to become a trainer. Now, I offer both hands-on One Shot Lash Lift training and the online Lash Lift Conversion course. I love being able to guide other beauty professionals, helping them gain confidence and grow in their careers.
Whether it’s in-person or online, my goal as an educator is to make learning clear, supportive, and confidence-boosting. Watching my students succeed and feel empowered is incredibly rewarding. I’m honored to be part of their journey.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband. We’re always up for trying new restaurants, watching sports and WWE, or planning our next getaway. This July, we’ll be celebrating seven amazing years of marriage. I’m so grateful for the love and support we share.
This industry has brought so much joy and purpose into my life. Being an Elleebana educator allows me to give back by mentoring and supporting others, and I’m excited to continue growing alongside this incredible brand.”
