Meet Karin, the passionate esthetician and educator behind The Green Bamboo Skin Spa & Education Center in Greeneville, Tennessee. With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry, Karin’s journey began in 2002 when she became a licensed esthetician in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since then, she has dedicated herself to perfecting her craft, building a loyal client base, and embracing ongoing education to stay at the forefront of the industry. Now an accomplished Elleebana trainer, Karin is committed to sharing her expertise with aspiring beauty professionals. We asked Karin about her journey, the evolution of her career, and what drives her passion for teaching and esthetics:

“From the moment I stepped into the world of esthetics over two decades ago, I knew I had found my passion. My journey began in 2002 when I became a licensed esthetician after graduating from esthetics school in Daytona Beach, Florida. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills, built an incredible client base, and expanded my knowledge to stay at the forefront of the beauty industry.

In 2017, life brought me to East Tennessee, where I established The Green Bamboo Skin Spa & Education Center in Greeneville. It was here that I truly fell in love with Elleebana. When I introduced lash lifting into my services in 2019, it quickly became my most sought-after treatment. I was captivated by the results, the confidence it gave my clients, and the quality of Elleebana’s products. That passion led me to take the next step—becoming an Elleebana trainer.

My training journey started in 2022 when I became an Elleebana Brow Henna Trainer. The following year, I added Elleeplex Profusion Lash and Brow Lamination, and in 2024, I officially became a trainer for the Elleebana One Shot line. Teaching has become one of my greatest joys—I love creating a fun, engaging learning environment where students not only gain technical skills but also feel empowered to grow their businesses. There’s something so special about welcoming students into the Elleebana family and seeing their success stories unfold.”

“Outside of work, my life is full and incredibly rewarding. My husband and I are raising a beautiful family, and we are proud parents to three amazing children—Kailey and her husband Cody, our son Gavin, and youngest Sophia. We’re also blessed with two wonderful grandchildren, Jayden and Alivia, who keep us on our toes and bring so much joy into our lives. In addition to running my spa and training future lash and brow artists, my husband and I have also started a new venture together—Sweeter than Sweet Candy Company, a vintage candy store that brings nostalgic treats to our community. Between my passion for beauty, my love for family, and our entrepreneurial spirit, life is busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
