We are beyond thrilled to celebrate and congratulate our incredible USA trainers, Kileigh Johnson and Andrea Newberry, for their stellar debut at the prestigious Oscars Online Competition 2024! 🥳 This was their very first global lash competition, and they’ve already made a mark by claiming podium positions. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievements! 🎉
OSCARS 2024, now in its 7th edition, is renowned for showcasing the finest talents in the Lash, Brow, and PMU (Permanent Makeup) sectors. This year, the competition drew over 400 entries across various categories, including Lashes, Lamination, and PMU. With a jury composed of industry masters, including our own Otto Mitter, and sponsorship from top brands like Elleebana, the competition continues to set the bar high for excellence and creativity.

Kileigh Johnson – 1st Place, Pro Category 🥇
Location: Hoffman Estates, Illinois
Kileigh Johnson’s journey into the beauty industry started young, surrounded by inspiring women in her family. After graduating from high school, she dove into the world of beauty, initially working at a luxury spa in Tacoma, WA. Her passion for education and beauty led her to excel in various roles, including working with top skincare brands and elevating their knowledge base. In 2014, Kileigh completed her esthetics program as a top student at The Bellus Academy in San Diego, CA.
Her career flourished as she gained invaluable experience in lash extensions, lash lifts, and brow shaping. Fast forward to today, Kileigh is a Master Trainer at the USA Headquarters Office, teaching courses in Lash Lifts, Lash & Brow Lamination, and Lash Extensions. She is also a global judge in Lash & Brow competitions, continuing to inspire many through her dedication and expertise.

Andrea Newberry – 3rd Place, Pro Category 🥉
Location: Effingham, Illinois
Andrea Newberry discovered her passion for the beauty industry while pursuing her Cosmetology license at LakeLand College in 2017. Her career quickly took off, and she fell in love with lashes and brows. After receiving her first lash lift certification in early 2018, Andrea dedicated herself to mastering her craft and obtaining multiple certifications for lash and brow treatments.
In 2021, she ventured into education, becoming an Elleebana educator and opening her own lash and brow-focused spa, Master Lash Beauty Bar & Academy. Andrea’s goal is to provide top-tier services and education, creating a positive and inspiring environment for both clients and students.
